In my travels to Montana I took this photo in the evening after a long day out. Just to the left of this is a forest fire from the lightening the night previous.
I went to Wisconsin to go ice fishing. Was a cold but fun trip. I was glad to come home to Woodinville but miss all that fun. To see a few photos click here!
My photography work includes film and digital. I have gone through several Canon
rebels, a 20d IR converted, a 5Dmark 2, also few shots with several film cameras
and a Hasselblad 500c.
Born in Washington State, I spent most of growing up out camping, taking photos or
playing with friends. Having learning disabilities made school hard but I would like
to think it helped me in the arts.
I am married and have a wonderful daughter, a horse
and two dogs along with several birds to wake me up in the morning.
I have been taking
photos since I was a little boy using whatever camera my parents would let me play
with. My mom had a darkroom in our house that always seemed magical. In about 2005
I bought my first good Digital camera. A Canon Rebel XT. What a great camera! I used
it for five years before getting an XTI and then in 2010 I moved onto a Rebel t1i
and a bit later I got a Canon 5D2. I am still enjoying learning how to take better
photos. One such example is going back to school for a A.FA. Degree in photography
from Shoreline Community College.
Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me.
We went to the coast. It was a short trip but we still enjoyed it. Here are a few photos.
Mystery car cruise around Washington was a great time.
Fishing on the river in Monroe was fun.
